Microblading healing process
- Your new eyebrows will cycle through a few different phases during the healing cycle. A true representation of the healed color can only be discerned 3-4 weeks after the first treatment. They may go from too dark to too light, to just right!
- Immediately following the procedure, the color is often very crisp and dark. This is because the pigments are still sitting towards the top of your skin and have not settled completely in. Gradually through the healing process, the coloration will soften.
- Once you begin healing, your skin will begin to look dry, or like dandruff flakes are appearing. This can give the appearance of color fading, however this is just superficial pigment and dry skin being removed from your eyebrows by your body's natural processes.
- Your eyebrows will appear the lightest during the 5-12 days after your treatment because the color will have absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin. After this time, the skin cells push the color back up to the upper layers of dermis. After the healing process has finished, you will be left with gorgeous, full, natural looking eyebrows!
